PROPERTIES AND APPLICATIONS:-
Zinc Stearate (ZS) improves the early colour when used in PVC and additionally gives good lubricating action.
They are widely used as lubricants, slipping agent, heat-stabilizers, mould releasing agent and accelerants in plastic.
Polystyrene and A.B.S. as lubricant and / or dispersant.
The paint industry as a matting agent / grinding agent.
The rubber industry as an anti blocking agent.
The ink industry.
Excellent release agent and lubricant for thermoplastic and thermosets as urea - melamine - phenolic compounds in cosmetics (Talcum Powders) ointments and Pharmaceutical powders.
As waterproofing agent for concrete, rock wall, cement, paper, textiles.
As flatting and sanding agent in lacquers.
In tablet manufacturing.
